CVD zinc selenide is a chemically inert material with high purity, strong environmental adaptability and easy processing. It has low transmission loss and good light transmission performance. It is the preferred material for high power CO2 laser optical components. It is also an ideal material for protecting Windows and optical components in FLIR thermal imaging systems due to its uniform refractive index and good consistency. At the same time, the material is also widely used in medical and thermal radiation meter and infrared spectrometer window and lens.
